Import Duties & Tariffs
When ordering from Kiwi Corner Dairy, please be aware that import duties, tariffs, and local taxes are not included in your purchase price. These charges are assessed by your country’s customs authority once your order is in transit and must be paid before delivery can take place.
How it Works
- Order & Shipment – You place your order with Kiwi Corner Dairy and we dispatch it from New Zealand.
- Customs Processing – When the shipment is in transit, your local customs authority will review it and determine any duties, tariffs, or taxes payable.
- DHL Notification – As your order is shipped via DHL Express New Zealand, DHL will contact you directly (usually by email or text message) once customs charges are calculated.
- Payment of Duties/Taxes – You will need to pay these charges directly to DHL before delivery can be completed.
- Delivery to You – Once payment is received, DHL will release your package and deliver it to your door.
Paying Duties & Taxes via DHL Express
- DHL will send you a secure link for online payment, or you may be contacted by phone depending on your local office.
- Payment options typically include credit card, debit card, or online banking, depending on your country.
- DHL cannot deliver your parcel until all import charges are settled.
Important Notes
Import duties and tariffs vary depending on your country, product type, and order value.
Kiwi Corner Dairy has no control over these charges, and we cannot estimate them for you in advance.
By placing an order, you agree to take responsibility for any import duties, tariffs, or taxes required in your country.
Can my order be declared as a gift?
Unfortunately not. Even if your order is intended as a present, purchases from online stores are considered commercial shipments by customs authorities.
Because your order is a purchase from a store, it must be declared as merchandise. This means import duties and taxes may still apply depending on your country’s rules.
